Message Rules

 

Filter based on the SUBJECT of the message:

 

Select Tools -> Message Rules -> Mail from the menu bar.

 

 

The New Mail Rule window is displayed.

 

 

Select the appropriate Condition and Action for your rule.


 
Click on contains specific words.


 If, for example, you wish to filter Porn sent to you with the word "Naked" , enter Naked in the first field of the Type Specific Words dialog box, then click Add.


Select OK to close the Type Specific Words window.
Select OK to close the Message Rules window.
You've just created your first filter based on subject.

Filter based on the SENDER of the message:

Select Message Rules -> Blocked Senders List from the Tools menu.

 

Select the Add... button.

Enter the Email Address of the sender you wish to block.

Select OK to close the Message Rules window
